What we collect

• Your name and email address (to create and secure your account).
• Your learning activity — lessons completed, quiz and review results, streaks, points, community posts.
• Your sign-up answers — how you found us, why you're learning Thai, and your level.
• Any voice recordings you choose to submit for practice/feedback.
• Payment details are handled directly by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy, a Stripe company) — we never see or store your card number.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

• To provide the app and your account — performance of a contract.
• To improve the app and understand our audience — legitimate interests.
• To process subscriptions — performance of a contract.
• To send optional updates or reminders — only with your consent (you can opt out any time in your profile).

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (secure hosting & database), Lemon Squeezy (payments, as merchant of record), Google Cloud (text-to-speech audio), and OpenAI (written-practice feedback). Some may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We never sell your data, and there are no advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

While your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to certain uses. Email us to exercise any of these. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies & storage

We use your device's local storage only to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising cookies.

Children

This app isn't intended for under-18s without a parent or guardian's consent.
